libmetis5-dbg software package provides Serial Graph Partitioning and Fill-reducing Matrix Ordering. Debugging symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmetis5-dbg
libmetis5-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmetis5-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmetis5-dbg *
You will get with libmetis5-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
